Mental Health Clinician I - MacDonald Carey

Provides direct and indirect services to clients. Is available as a consultant to the community as needed.
Provides individual, group, conjoint, and family therapy, both short and long term.
Conduct intake evaluations and provide all case management services for those clients as required.
Complete all required documentation, report writing, and correspondence within the mandated time frames.
Provide all case management services to assigned clients as needed.
Provide crisis intervention for clients as required.
Work established hours for program.
Provide consultation and education to the community as needed.
Work collaboratively with members of the multi-disciplinary treatment team as well as other managers and clinicians of the MacDonald Carey Program.
Submit weekly schedule of client appointments.
Other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Master of Social Work from an accredited school of social work AND a current Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) registration through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; OR
current Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (MFT Intern) registration through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences;
Minimum two (2) years experience in a mental health setting. Community mental health experience desirable. Experience with the severely mentally ill desirable.
Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and personal, valid insurance. May be required to be insured by the Center’s auto insurance.
