Mental Health Clinician I Transitions Outpatient -Bilingual Spanish


To treat and support the mental health needs of the transitional youth population in an effort to assist clients in reaching their maximum capacity of independent living.

  • Providing intakes, individual and family therapy, skill-building, crisis intervention and case management to clients with a variety of mental health needs in an outpatient mental health setting.
  • Assist with providing referrals and linking clients to a variety of community based resources to include those related to education, employment and benefits.
  • Facilitate groups as needed to address specific needs of the population.
  • Maintaining documentation to the standards established by LA DMH and the Center of all interactions directly or indirectly related to the client and will include initial assessments, annual assessments, progress notes and care plans.
Master’s Degree in psychology or a related behavioral science field from an accredited university and must be currently registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an intern.
Must have a valid California Driver’s License in good standing and personal, valid insurance. May be required to be insured by the Center's auto insurance.
