Staff Aide/Receptionist

Duties: 
Responsible to Centerwide Services Manager for answering multi-line switchboard, greeting and tracking visitors and maintaining front office. Also assists Centerwide Services Manager with day to day tasks such as coding bills and bill breakdowns, database maintenance, wireless orders, vendor interactions, etc.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Answer phones and direct calls.
 
Take messages if requested.
 
Greet, announce and direct visitors.
 
Data entry and filing.
 
Process incoming mail for Centerwide Services Manager.
 
Check requests, bill breakdowns, database maintenance.
 
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

 
Must act in accordance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and related state law confidentiality requirements. Must successfully complete the Center’s HIPAA training, pass the HIPAA test, and receive the Certification of Compliance.
 
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
 
Positive interaction with other employees at work is an essential function of the job.
 
Arriving at work on time and not leaving early is an essential function of the job.
 
EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
 
Ability to operate a copy machine, fax machine, shredder, computer, and printer.
 
Will train for the use of other equipment as necessary.
High school Diploma or equivalent. Two (2) years of college preferred.
 
Two (2) years of general office experience.
 
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word).
 
Type minimum of 45-50 wpm.
