We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

B.A. in field of social work, counseling, psychology, or related field.


Minimum of three years experience in a behavioral health care; experience with chronic mentally ill and homeless preferred. Familiar with DSMIV preferred. Case management experience necessary; one year experience in M.A

MA/MSW degree in counseling, social work, or related field – BBS licensed eligible required.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mental health setting working with children and families. Community mental health experience desirable. Experience with severely emotionally disturbed desirable.

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
One (1) year of experience working with children and their families. Awareness of and sensitivity to issues confronting families and their children who are experiencing severe emotional disturbances. Personal experience in raising a seriously emotionally disturbed child preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and follow-through.
Experience and knowledge of substance abuse rehabilitation and relapse prevention principles and resources is highly desired.
Must pass Department of Justice fingerprint clearance.
Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and personal, valid insurance. May be required to be insurable by the Center’s auto insurance carrier.

Eighteen (18) months of mental health stability and stable on medication if prescribed.
If Dual Diagnosed, twelve (12) months of successful recovery from substance abuse and attendance in AA and/or support groups preferred.
Must have a valid California Driver’s License and be insurable by the Center’s insurance company and maintain a good driving record.
Experience working in mental health or human services field preferred. (includes Public Social service field)
Education: High school diploma, AA degree or equivalent, and/or 3 years of more experience in an outpatient homeless program or 1.5 years residential drug treatment program.
Must successfully complete and pass Los Angeles Sherriff’s Department Background check to provide outreach and engagements to client’s incarcerated at designated facilities.  REQ. 6568A  Apply Here
Bilingual, English-Spanish speaking, pre-license, MSW or MFT Intern, with counseling experience working with traumatized victims of abuse and violence, in groups and individually.
Must be able to work as a team member, be flexible, great organizational skills, and be willing to work in a government contracted and regulated agency setting with oversight. 
Knowledge of CalWorks/TANF population and possession of the 40 hour domestic violence advocacy certification highly recommended.

Licensed Mental Health Professional, (MFT, LCSW, Ph.D.)

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a mental health setting. Intensive case management experience with the target population is necessary.

LPS designation must be acquired

CAADAC/ CAADE certificate (course work completed) and registration/certification in process.
High School Diploma/GED Required.
Minimum of two years’ experience in substance use disorders in a mental health or substance abuse setting setting preferably with homeless, forensic, dual diagnosed individuals. Experience in individual and group counseling. Two years alcohol & drug treatment experience preferred.
Master degree from an approved graduate school or program registered intern with the appropriate California licensing board, experience working with children in a behavioral health setting, and valid California license.
Bilingual (Spanish)
Must pass Department of Justice fingerprint clearance and pre-employment physical.
Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and be insurable by the Center’s auto insurance carrier.
Able to work effectively with a range of clients and staff from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
