Programs

We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

Job
Currently possess a California State License as either a: Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Psychologist. License must be current and in good standing.
 
Current NPI number.
 
Must act in accordance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and related state law (LPS) confidentiality requirements. Must successfully complete the Center’s HIPAA training, pass the HIPAA test and receive the “Certification of Compliance”.
 
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
 
Interacting with other employees at work is an essential function of the job.
 
Arriving at work on time and not leaving early is an essential function of the job.
 
Obtain DOJ clearance.

Job
 
Master’s Degree in psychology or a related behavioral science field from an accredited university and must be currently registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as an intern.
 
Must have a valid California Driver’s License in good standing and personal, valid insurance. May be required to be insured by the Center's auto insurance.

High School education or equivalent, with two (2) years of college preferred.
 
Two (2) years of secretarial and office management experience required.
 
Demonstrated proficiency in math, billing, and computing and monitoring report data preferred.
 
Type minimum of 55 words per minute. Computer skills, including Windows 95 and 98, Word, and Excel expertise are important for the functions performed in this position.
 
Valid California Driver’s License is required. Must meet guidelines of agency’s driving criteria (i.e. Proof of liability insurance, minimal moving violations, driving record free of DUI’s or reckless driving in the last 3 years, etc.), and maintain the criteria as per company policy at all times.

At least (2) years’ experience either employed, or working as a volunteer, with children, adolescents, and families in a mental health or related setting with a strengths-based, family-centered approach.

Qualifications

Experience and knowledge of substance abuse rehabilitation and relapse prevention principles and resources is highly desired.
