Programs

We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

Job
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist or Clinical Social Worker in the State of California for at least 2 years.
 
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mental health setting working with children and families. Community mental health experience desirable. Experience with severely emotionally disturbed desirable.
 
Must pass Department of Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
 
Valid California Driver’s License is required. Must meet guidelines of agency' s driving criteria (i.e. Proof of liability insurance, minimal moving violations, driving record free of DUI's or reckless driving in the last 3 years, etc.) and maintain the criteria as per company policy at all times.  REQ 33123A
Job
Waivered or Associate M.A. or MSE in field of social work, counseling, psychology or related field. Registered intern with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
 
Minimum of two years of experience in behavioral health care; experience with forensic chronic mentally ill preferred. Knowledge of DSM-V required. Co­ occurring Chemical dependency/mental health experience preferred.  REQ. 31241A

Current LVN/LPT license in good standing and adhere to the board of nursing requirements and best practice guidelines.
Must have expert knowledge in the areas of nursing regulations and best practices. Experience working in a nursing administrative or supervisory role.
Must maintain current status as a licensed professional under California law.
At least five (5) years’ experience in working with persons diagnosed with medical, mental health and co-existing disorders.
Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and be insurable by the Center’s auto insurance carrier.

Job
LCSW, MFT, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university, and licensed in the state of California for a minimum of three (3) years.
 
At least two (2) years of experience with providing clinical supervision. At least
one (1) year in a supervisory or management position in a related setting.
 
Knowledge regarding Child and Family Mental Health, Family Systems and Family Strengths-Based approaches, as well as of Child Welfare and Juvenile Probation Services highly preferred.
 
Ability to multi-task and assume responsibility for the day-to-day functioning of the East Valley Youth and Family Center Program in all capacities.

Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work AND a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) registration number through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Masters in psychology or related behavioral science field from accredited university and a current Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT)

Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university AND current Psychologist registration with the California Board of Psychology

Must maintain current status as a licensed professional under California law.

Minimum of two (2) years experience in a mental health setting.

Must have a valid California Driver License in good standing and be insurable by the Center’s auto insurance carrier.

Job

MA or MSW in psychology, sociology, or related field of social science.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the field of mental health with at least three (3) years’ experience working with children, adolescents and families in a mental health program, diagnosing and treating trauma, or similar client population involving intensive case management and crisis counseling. Ability to provide clinical supervision and employee guidance is a must.
  • Licensed in the state of California as a LCSW or LMFT, and registered with the CA BBS.
  • Must pass Department of Justice Fingerprint Clearance.
  • Valid California Driver’s License is required. Must meet guidelines of agency’s driving criteria (i.e. Proof of liability insurance, minimal moving violations, driving record free of DUI’s or reckless driving in the last 3 years, etc.) and maintain the criteria as per company policy at all times

At least two (2) years experience working with severely emotionally disturbed children and their families. Experience working in a community mental health setting is highly preferred. Bilingual Spanish highly preferred.
Ability to speak Spanish is HIGHLY preferred.
