We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

Job

Licensed MFT, LCSW, PhD/PsyD. (psychology) in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or related field highly desired; or GED plus CAADC, CAADE, or RAS certification with 2 years of experience.
 
Certificate in substance abuse counseling or education required. CAADAC, CAADE, or RAS.
 
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a program serving probationary youth with substance abuse problems or providing substance abuse education and/or counseling to a similar population.
 
Valid California Driver’s License is required.   • LCSW, MFT, or Ph.D./Psy.D. in clinical psychology from an accredited university, and licensed in the state of California for a minimum of three (3) years.
  • Must maintain current status with the BBS as a licensed professional under California law.
  • Must be certified in evidence-based model CPP (Child Parent Psychotherapy).
  • Must have completed the criteria required by the BBS to provide clinical supervision in California, including completion of the fifteen (15) hour training in Clinical Supervision required to supervise both ASWs and MFT-Interns, as well as having provided clinical therapy or clinical supervision for a minimum of 2 of the past 5 years.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the field of mental health with at least three (3) years’ experience working with the Birth to 5 population.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing clinical supervision in a children’s mental health setting.
  • Must possess the California Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement and be qualified to provide Reflective Supervision.
  • Must pass Department of Justice fingerprint clearance and pre-employment physical.

EDUCATION:

Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work AND a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) registration through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; OR

Masters Degree (MA/MS) in psychology or related behavioral science field from accredited university AND a current Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) registration through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences

Job
Certification with either CADDE or CADAAC Certification.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chemical Dependency Specialist with experience in outreach, assessment, treatment and after care.
Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Word programs required (Microsoft Word & Excel especially). Knowledge and required training for the use of The ASAM Criteria and ASAM Triage Screening Tools to ensure proper level of care referrals to county treatment providers.
Must be bilingual (Spanish-English)
Familiarity with signs and symptoms of domestic violence and mental illness.
Additional Requirements:
Must act in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and related state law confidentiality requirements. Must successfully complete the Center’s HIPAA training, pass the HIPAA test, and receive the Certification of Compliance.

Job
Registered with either CAADE or CAADAC chemical dependency programs.
To maintain registration throughout employment or become a certified chemical dependency specialist through a state approved certifying agency on an ongoing basis.
Minimum 1 years’ experience working with probationers, parolees general relief, CalWORKs, DCFS, Medi-Cal and or community clients.
A working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office programs required (Microsoft Word & Excel especially). Additionally, knowledge and training of The ASAM Criteria and a web-based ASAM Triage Screening Tool.
Knowledge of signs and symptoms of domestic violence and mental illness.
Bi-lingual Spanish/English highly desired.
