Programs

We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

EDUCATION:
Licensed MFT, LCSW, PhD / Psy D. (psychology) in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
 
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of four years experience in behavioral health care; experience with forensic chronic mentally ill preferred. Knowledge of DSM IV TR required. Co-occurring Chemical dependency/mental health experience preferred.  REQ. 33164A

Master of Social Work (MSW) from an accredited school of social work AND a current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) registration number through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; OR
Masters in psychology or related behavioral science field from accredited university AND a current Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) registration number through the California Board of Behavioral Sciences; OR
Doctorate in Psychology from an accredited university AND current Psychologist registration with the California Board of Psychology
Must maintain current status as a licensed professional under California law.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a mental health setting.

M.D./Ph.D., One year residency.
 
License from the State of California to practice medicine. Valid certificate in Psychiatry issued by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or be eligible for such a certificate.

Bilingual, English-Spanish speaking, pre-license, MSW or MFT Intern, with counseling experience working with traumatized victims of abuse and violence, in groups and individually.
 
Must be able to work as a team member, be flexible, great organizational skills, and be willing to work in a government contracted and regulated agency setting with oversight. 
 
Knowledge of CalWorks/TANF population and possession of the 40 hour domestic violence advocacy certification highly recommended.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 
Master degree from an approved graduate school or program leading to California licensure as LMFT/LCSW or equivalent, licensed therapist or registered intern with the appropriate California licensing board, experience working with children in a behavioral health setting, and valid California license.

Job

We are looking for Nurse Practitioners who can perform assessment, medication support, and medication education to our clients within age groups. All positions are contract based with consistent yet varied part-time hours, depending on program. Internship

Internships (unpaid) are available for Masters, Ph.D., Psy.D. or Post-Docs. The new students are accepted into the program in January, May and August. Applications are accepted until positions are filled but apply at least one month before expected start date. We are currently accepting applications for May and August.
