Programs

We offer a wide variety of job opportunities as we have 35 programs located throughout the San Fernando Valley.  Although some of these opportunities are in the Administrative Offices, the majority of them are out in the field helping individuals as case managers, social workers, therapists and nurses.

Bilingual, English-Spanish speaking, pre-license, MSW or MFT Intern, with counseling experience working with traumatized victims of abuse and violence, in groups and individually.
 
Must be able to work as a team member, be flexible, great organizational skills, and be willing to work in a government contracted and regulated agency setting with oversight. 
 
Knowledge of CalWorks/TANF population and possession of the 40 hour domestic violence advocacy certification highly recommended.

Job

Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a mental health setting. Intensive case management experience with the target population is necessary.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 
Master degree from an approved graduate school or program leading to California licensure as LMFT/LCSW or equivalent, licensed therapist or registered intern with the appropriate California licensing board, experience working with children in a behavioral health setting, and valid California license.
 
Must maintain current status as a licensed professional under California law.
 
At least one (1) year experience working in a mental health setting with CMI population.

Job
EDUCATION:
Licensed MFT, LCSW, PhD/PsyD. (psychology)  in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
 
 
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of four years experience in behavioral health care; experience with
forensic chronic mentally ill preferred. Knowledge of DSM IV TR required. Co-
occurring Chemical dependency/mental health experience preferred.
 
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
1.         Must act in accordance with all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and related state law confidentiality requirements. Must successfully complete the Center’s HIPAA training, pass the HIPAA test, and receive the Certification of Compliance.
 
2.         Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.

Job
B.A./B.S. Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field.
 
Minimum of two years experience in the field of special events, development and public relations.
 
Knowledge of databases, Raiser's Edge experience is a plus.
 
Demonstrated knowledge and work experience with coordinating successful special events and obtaining corporate sponsorships.
 
Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills, and ability to interact with diverse groups.
 
Ability to perform multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
 
Strong computer skills required. Experience with Microsoft Office and database applications.
 
Local travel, some evening and weekend work required. Valid California Driver’s License is required.  Must meet guidelines of agency’s driving criteria (i.e. Proof of liability insurance, minimal moving violations, driving record free of DUI’s or reckless driving in the last 3 years, etc.) and maintain the criteria as per company policy at all times.  REQ. Job

We are looking for Nurse Practitioners who can perform assessment, medication support, and medication education to our clients within age groups. All positions are contract based with consistent yet varied part-time hours, depending on program. Internship

Internships (unpaid) are available for Masters, Ph.D., Psy.D. or Post-Docs. The new students are accepted into the program in January, May and August. Applications are accepted until positions are filled but apply at least one month before expected start date. We are currently accepting applications for May and August.
