Multisystemic Therapy (MST)

MST is an evidence-based program that is provided in-home. It is an intensive, family-oriented, and strength-based model designed to target problem behaviors of youth in the Juvenile Justice system. The program provides interventions designed to help the youth and the family make changes in the youth's social ecology that have lead to anti-social behavior. This includes collaboration with the family, school, community, peers, and the individual youth himself.

Our target population is youth on probation between the ages of 12 to 17. Youth are referred to the MST program by their school-based probation officer.

The program is funded through a combination of Prevention and Early Intervention – Mental Health Services Act, STOP funds, and Schiff-Cardenas funds.
