We want to thank the Get Together Foundation, an immediate action-based organization, for bringing 150 meals (and more to come) to our Food Bank to help our clients, many of whom are homeless or at risk of homelessness! Through the power of music – holding music showcases and pop up events – the Get Together Foundation brings about change and works to combat homelessness. THEY ROCK! San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center offers a Food Bank for our clients who are most in need. In a typical month, the Center Food Bank provides groceries for to up to 700 individuals and families. Because of our current situation with the Coronavirus, we are receiving little food and the Food Bank is in danger of closing its doors for now. Read more…
