San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center voted
2021 Daily News Readers’ Best Nonprofit and Best Workplace
Van Nuys, CA – San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center (SFVCMHC), Inc. is proud to announce it has been selected for two great honors – the Daily News Readers Choice 2021 recipient of the Best Non-Profit Organization in all Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley region and the Best Workplace in the San Fernando Valley. Last month, the Center also received recognition as a 2021 California Nonprofit of the Year, nominated by Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian.

Founded in 1970, SFVCMHC is one of the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health service providers in Los Angeles County, serving more than 15,000 children, transition age youth, adults, older adults and families through its 50 programs each year. We are dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals and families by providing effective, culturally-sensitive therapeutic services based on each client’s individual needs, strengths and choices. Achieving this mission results in our vision and motto of Moving Lives Forward. Our commitment to mental health has kept families together, protected individuals from abuse, placed the homeless in safe housing and has given hope to thousands of individuals each year that a better life is possible.
