Founded in 1970, SFVCMHC is one of the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health service providers in Los Angeles County, serving more than 15,000 children, transition age youth, adults, older adults and families through its 50+ programs each year. We are dedicated to improving the mental health of individuals and families by providing effective, culturally-sensitive therapeutic services based on each client’s individual needs, strengths and choices. Achieving this mission results in our vision and motto of Moving Lives Forward. Our commitment to mental health has kept families together, protected individuals from abuse, placed the homeless in safe housing and has given hope to thousands of individuals each year that a better life is possible.
