Volunteers at San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, Inc. make a huge difference throughout our Center. Currently, more than 80 volunteers are placed at 17 of the Center’s programs. They are forging friendships with clients and helping staff to provide better services.
Volunteers can be directly involved in activities with our clients. They serve as tutors, mentors and role models. They even facilitate group meetings, such as life skills groups. They can also help with special projects and administrative tasks.
If you want to make a difference in the lives of those we serve, please fill out the Volunteer application form. For questions, contact Charlie Rubin, Director of Volunteers, at 818-901-4830, crubin@sfvcmhc.org.
