Center Spotlighted in PsyR Connections
Dr. Adrienne Sheff, PsyD, MFT, Director of Adult and Older Adult Services, had an article recently featured in the latest issue of PsyR Connections, a newsletter of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. The article discussed the Center’s Client Run Center (CRC), its Recovery Panel as well as our Wellness Center and Peer Counseling Training Program.
In collaboration with the LA County Department of Mental Health, the CRC has developed a Radio and TV program featuring our clients telling stories of recovery and working to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. The article highlights one specific client story of recovery that has appeared on this show.
