Angel’s Flight
Emergency shelter for ages 10-17 and voluntary shelter for runaways, homeless, and at-risk youths. Family & child counseling, case management, therapy, LAUSD education, outreach program. The main goal is family reunification. Bilingual. All services are free. 21-day program with transitional assistance (either placement or family reunification). The client needs to call and they will conduct a telephone interview to explain the rules.

The Casa Libre/Freedom House (a program of the Center for Human Rights and Constitutional Law) currently offers an emergency and transitional living shelter program for homeless children under the age of 18 years. The program’s expertise lies in the provision of shelter, social, educational, medical and legal services for homeless children, with a focus on unaccompanied immigrant children who have often been abused, abandoned, or neglected in this home countries and traveled to the United States alone.
